1.Believe in yourself✋:


People who think that they have lot of willpower  do incredible things. In one study published in the journal of personality and social psychology, researchers followed 153 college students over five weeks and found that those who believed at will power were less likely to procrastinate. Even their grades were better.


2.Acknowledge your previous successes💪:


It is important to recognize your past successes. If you don’t, you will always feel as though you fail at every task you attempt, and this will kill our motivation. Acknowledging our previous successes reinforces the behavior,we want to feel each time we face a new opportunity or challenge. It will increase positive emotions such as self-respect and confidence. Take a moment to look back at our previous achievements.

3.Surround yourself with positive people👬:


Studies have shown that spending time with negative people can have a seriously detrimental effect on our well-being & self-motivation. On the other hand, people with a positive attitude and mindset are great motivators. Try to remove negative people from your life and surround yourself with happy, positive people that will encourage and empower you.


4.Tell a friend👥:


In a study from Dominican University in California, researchers found that participants were 35 percent more likely to accomplish their goals if they wrote them down, shared them with another person and then checked in with weekly progress updates. The only problem? Not everyone in your group chat cares about how well your tap dancing lessons are going. Here’s an idea—team up with one friend who could also use a motivational boost and share weekly wins over coffee.


5.Be your own cheerleader💥:


Negative thoughts kills your goal and yourself. But the easiest way to turn things around  is to tell yourself how great you are doing. That’s according to a study published in Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, which found that cyclists who repeated positive phrases (like “you can do it”)  pedaled longer than those who didn’t. So you repeatedly motivate yourself with positive words. Research has shown that people achieve more when the self-talk is in third person. Say ‘You can do this,’ rather than ‘I can do this.’ The exact reason is unclear but quite possibly it’s because when we were young, success started with someone saying, ‘You can do this!


6.Reward yourself💝:


This is a great way to get motivated. Before you start a dreaded task, decide on the reward you’ll receive when you’ve finished! If it’s a small job, you may reward yourself with a cup of coffee and a yummy chocolate biscuit is enough motivate you towards goal. For a larger job, maybe buy yourself some delicious food , take yourself out or visit the cinema.
